Born in Madrid in 1961.

Career official of the Higher Corps of Civil Administrators of the State since 1988 and graduated in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid.

He has held, among others, the following jobs: Assistant Director General of Prison Personnel (1994-1996), Assistant Director General of the General Directorate of the Civil Guard (1996-1999), Secretary General of the Department of Industry, Trade and Development of the Government of Aragon (1999-2000), Assistant Director General of Legal Regime Management and Institutional Relations of the Civil Service (2000-2002), Secretary General of the CSIC (2002-2011), Deputy Vice-President of Scientific Programming at the CSIC (2012-2013), and Secretary General of the State Aviation Security Agency (2014- 2020).

Since December 2023, he has been Assistant Director-General for Labour Relations, dealing with relations with trade union organizations in the field of the General Administration of the State; the direction, coordination, development and proposal of agreements and pacts in relation to the collective negotiation of public employees and employees derived from the negotiation tables of official and labour personnel; the coordination and support in the processes of trade union elections, as well as the coordination, promotion and interlocution with trade union organizations in matters of equality and non-discrimination of public employees, prevention of labour risks, social action, and corporate social responsibility as well as the preparation of reports and memoirs in these matters and participation in international forums.

He has been a member, as a member or president, of the Permanent Selection Commission and of the qualifying courts for access to the Higher Corps of Civil Administrators of the State, to the Corps of Aeronautical Engineers, to the Scale of Specialized Higher Graduates of OPIS, and to the Specialty of Air Transport of the Technical Scale of Management of Autonomous Bodies of the Ministry of Development.

They have been awarded the Silver Medal for Prison Social Merit, the Cross with the white badge of the Order of Merit of the Civil Guard, and the Distinction for dedication to the service of the Ministry of Finance and Public Service.
