Members of the Government and senior officials of the General Administration of the State (Ley3/2015, of 30 March, regulating the exercise of the high office).
- Prepare the reports provided for in the law.
- The management of the regime of incompatibilities and conflicts of interest of senior State officials.
- To require those who are appointed or ceased in the exercise of a high office of the General Government of the State to comply with the obligations provided for in the law.
- The keeping and management of the Registers of Activities and Property and Patrimonial Rights of senior officials of the General Administration of the State, and the responsibility for the custody, security and indemnity of the data and documents contained therein.
- To cooperate, in matters of its own, with organs of similar nature.
Personnel in the service of public administrations (Law 53/1984, of 26 December, on Incompatibilities of personnel in the service of public administrations, Royal Decree 598/1985, of 30 April, which develops the law and Order HFP/1500/2021, of 29 December, on the delegation of powers to the Office of Conflicts of Interest).
- Management of compatibility procedures for the performance of a second post or public sector activity, where the principal activity falls within the scope of the General Government of the State
- Management of compatibility procedures for the exercise of professional, labour, commercial or industrial activities outside public administrations where public activity falls within the scope of the General Government of the State.
- The issuance of reports in relation to requests for compatibility of activities in the public sector, where the second post falls within the scope of the General Government of the State and must be resolved within the scope of the competences of an Autonomous Community or a Local Corporation.
- The resolution of options between incompatible public posts.
