The need to overcome this selective course for officials seeking to fill posts by service inspectors in the different ministries is determined by the provisions of Article 15.2.d. of Royal Decree 799/2005 of 1 July, which regulates the general service inspections of the ministerial departments.

At present, the regulation of the course is established in the Order TFP/1125/2020 of 25 November, in which, among other things, its characteristics, conditions of access to it, the merits to be assessed for applicants and the range of subjects on which each edition of the course can be viewed are detailed.

The call for each of the editions, which establishes the specific peculiarities of it, is carried out by resolution of the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP). It also contains the composition of the selection body which will carry out the determination of the pupils and the qualification of the work they will have to do during their celebration.
