Accredited document of amateur radio
The Secretary of State will send to new radio amateurs, as well as to old ones who request it, a new document that proves the existence of the corresponding radio amateur authorization.
The document, inserted in paper model DIN A4 is compatible with the electronic processing procedure so that interested parties can print it using their own computer means and can proceed to its subsequent plastification if they wish.
The document indicates an electronic locator of the corresponding amateur radio administrative authorization, through which the user himself can access it if he so wishes. This locator will also allow the Inspection Services authorized to verify the effective existence of such authorization.
The new document does not imply any modification of the conditions inherent to amateur radio authorizations, regulated by the Regulations and Instructions on the use of spectrum by radio amateurs.
Radio amateurs who wish to obtain this document must request it from the appropriate Provincial Telecommunications Inspection Office, preferably using the electronic means of the Ministry’s electronic headquarters or by e-mail, being sent to the electronic or postal address on their file. The deadlines for referral may vary depending on the number of applications and the availability of resources of each Provincial Headquarters. This procedure does not require the payment of any fee.
