Quality Conferences in Public Services
The Quality Conferences in Public Services, promoted biennially by the Inter-Administrative Network of Quality in Public Services, are a means to enhance and externalize the Network’s activity, disseminate quality and evaluation in the public sector from a logic of consensus, as well as present good practices and innovative management approaches. They are a forum for contacts and discussion for defining the future strategy, bringing proposals to those responsible for public administrations and projecting to civil society the commitment of administrations to improve public services.
7th State Quality Conference in Public Services

Under the motto 'Quality and Innovation for Recovery', the Ministry of Finance and Public Service together with the FEMP and the City of Málaga, convened the joint celebration of the 7th State Conference of Quality and XI Conference of Modernization and Quality in the Local Administration (JOMCAL), which took place in Málaga on 17 to 19 November 2021,

On 20 and 21 November, the Conference on Quality in Public Services was held in Madrid under the theme of Excellence and Recognition. Prespective 2020. The following round tables were held:

On October 20, 2015, it was held in Madrid, under the motto "Transparency of Quality. To evaluate transparency", the 5th State Conference on Quality in Public Services. In the framework of the Conference, the Awards for Quality and Innovation in Public Management have also been presented for the 2014 call.
The development of the Conference, as established in the program, consisted of its Opening by authorities, 2 Conferences and 4 Round Tables that developed the theme of the 5th Conference, the delivery of the Quality and Innovation Awards in Public Management 2014 and the Closing by authorities.

4th State Quality Conference in Public Services
The 4th State Conference on Quality in Public Services, co-organized by the State Agency for Evaluation of Public Policies and Quality of Services (AEVAL) and the members of the Interadministrative Network of Quality in Public Services, took place in the Hall of Acts of CSIC, during the 26th and 27th of November 2013, and was attended by other professionals.
The theme of the event has been "Quality and Innovation, values for Good Governance", which has developed two thematic axes:
Innovation in Public Management, contribution of Quality to Innovation - Facilitating processes.
Measurement and evaluation, as instruments that facilitate Transparency and Accountability - The results and their dissemination.
The structure of the Conference, as planned, has included its opening by authorities, 2 conferences and 2 round tables around the axes of the event, a technical discussion panel, a recapitulative conference and the presentation of conclusions, the delivery of the Quality and Innovation Awards in Public Management 2012 and the Closing by authorities.

3rd State Quality Conference in Public Services
Organized by AEVAL in collaboration with the Basque Government, the 3rd State Quality Conference was held at the Euskalduna Jauregia Palace in Bilbao under the motto “The Added Value of Quality. Collaboration and participation to be more efficient.”
With the assistance of more than 240 professionals and other participants from both the public and private sectors, the event has developed along two main lines: Quality Management: Efficiency and Sustainability and Network Work/Network Management.
Inaugurated by the President of AEVAL, Ms. Ana María Ruiz Martínez, together with the Deputy Public Administration Counsellor of the Basque Government, Ms. Elena Pérez Barredo, the Conference has taken place throughout a series of plenary sessions and several parallel presentations of good practice. Two lectures by Mr. Jesús Ruiz-Huerta Carbonell and Mr. Genís Roca have preceded the holding of round tables on “Quality Management: Efficiency and Sustainability” and on “Network Work/Network Management”, in which representatives of the Administration and other experts in the subjects under discussion have participated. For its part, the presentation of initiatives developed by Public Sector organizations was carried out through 6 parallel sessions of presentation of best practices and projects developed by the Inter-Administrative Network Committees and Working Groups.
Likewise, in the context of the event, the Ceremony of Awarding the Prizes for Quality and Innovation in Public Management 2010, which is convened annually by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Administration, prior to the closing of the Conference by the President of AEVAL, the Deputy Councillor for Public Administration of the Basque Government and the Director General of Impulse.

2nd State Quality Conference in Public Services
With the motto “Evaluation, Quality and Efficiency. Policies of Quality and Quality of Policies” the 2nd State Conference of Quality in Public Services was inaugurated in Logroño.
The opening Bureau consisted of the Councillor for Tourism, Environment and Territorial Policy of the Government of La Rioja, Ms. Ms. Aránzazu Vallejo, the Councillor for Public Administration and Local Policy of the Government of La Rioja, Mr. D. Conrado Escobar Las Heras, the Secretary of State for the Civil Service, Ms. Ms. Carmen Gomis Bernal, President of AEVAL, Ms. Ms. Maria Luisa Carcedo Roces and H.E. Mayor of Logroño, Mr. D. Tomás Santos Munilla.
In order to share and learn from the experiences and knowledge generated by the different administrations for the promotion of quality and evaluation in Spain, it revolved around three axes: evaluation of public policies and programs, quality of public services and efficiency in public management.
The sessions of the Conference were organized through the combination of round tables and parallel sessions of good practice, with the participation of experts from various areas of public administrations.

1st State Quality Conference in Public Services
The 1st State Conference on Quality in Public Services was held: “Quality for Governance” organised by AEVAL on 5 and 6 November 2007, which discussed best practices for cooperation between the three levels of Public Administration and civil society.
In Madrid, the Conference brought together senior officials and public management officials from the General Administration of the State, the Autonomous Communities and the Local Government, as well as experts in quality, governance and the provision of services from the various public administrations. Among other speakers and panelists, Elke Löffler, President of International Governance; José Ignacio Wert, President of EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management); Fernando Vallespín, President of the Centre for Sociological Research (CIS); Rafael Matesanz, National Coordinator of Public Transplantation; Consumers
The objectives of the conference were, on the one hand, to unite the approaches and interests of public administrations and the private sector to find agreements on institutional quality, through cooperation and citizen participation in the management and evaluation of public services and, on the other hand, to publicize the progress of the study of public perception of public services of 2007, developed by the Agency’s Quality Observatory of Public Services.
To this end, the programme, in addition to 3 round tables on administrative cooperation, civil society participation and future strategies for governance, has included two panels in which six good management practices have been presented.
