Access to the procedure
The Secretary of State for Telecommunications is the body responsible for initiating and resolving punitive proceedings in the field of telecommunications.
The power to agree on the opening of all files, as well as to punish very serious infringements, is delegated to the Director-General for Telecommunications and, to punish serious and minor infringements, to the Deputy Director-General for Inspection and Supervision.
The maximum duration of the proceedings is one year and the time limit for making representations to the accused and to the motion for a resolution is one month.
