The identification of the areas where there is no broadband coverage that provides the user with more than 100 Mbps of download under conditions of maximum demand in 2024 has been the result of the procedure that begins with the request and collection of the existing coverage and the three-year plans of all operators, the preliminary identification of these areas and their consolidation with the public consultation, whose objective is to obtain the definitive map of eligible areas, in which, according to the State aid regulations, it is possible to grant public aid during the year 2024 for the realization of projects of extension of the coverage of ultra-fast broadband networks. The result of the consultation, which was closed on August 10, 2024, is published in the web page of the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures.
Below, the links are provided to be able to download the list of eligible zones (*). In the call 2024 of the UNICO Broadband Program, 52 concurrence zones are included, coinciding with the 52 provinces and autonomous cities of Spain. The location and contour of these areas is provided in a geographical layer file in shape format, which makes it possible to process them from any geographic information system (GIS).

Public consultation in the Basque Country
Between March 26 and April 25, 2024, the Foral Entity AZPIEGITURAK S.A.M.P. on behalf of the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia / Bizkaiko Foru Aldundia (DFB/BFA) carries out the Public Consultation to identify the areas in which there is no ultra-fast fixed access network in the Historical Territory of Bizkaia by 2024.
