The legal framework of numbering, addressing and naming is regulated in Chapter VII of Title II of Law 11/2022, of June 28, General of Telecommunications, in Title IV of the Regulation on electronic communications markets, access to networks and numbering, and in the National Plan of Telephone Numbering, the latter two approved by Royal Decree 2296/2004, of December 10, and in its development regulations.
