Eligible investments and expenses of aid programmes co-financed by the ERDF are subject to specific regulations in addition to those reflected in the Order of Bases regulating the aid.
In addition to the European implementing regulations described below, Order HFP/1979/2016 of 29 December, approving the rules on eligible expenditure of the operational programmes of the European Regional Development Fund for the period 2014-2020, applies. It details the general rules on the eligibility of expenditure, lists the expenditure that is not eligible under the ERDF, sets out the specific conditions for eligible expenditure according to its location and refers to the rules applicable to grants and repayable assistance.
