The special use of the public radio domain is the use of the frequency bands enabled for its operation on a shared basis, without limitation of the number of operators or users and with the technical conditions and for the services established in each case.
The services to which this mode of use can currently be applied are the amateur radio service, which requires individual authorisation and, at operator level, mobile communications services on aircraft in flight (MCA) and mobile communications on board ships (MCV), which require a concession.
