The Law 28/2006 of 18 July, of State Agencies for the Improvement of Public Services, establishes the need to make an annual report, whose destination is the Congress of Deputies, on the activity carried out by the State Agencies and their commitments to improve the quality of the services provided to the citizens, a report that, according to the provisions of the first additional provision, in its third paragraph, is entrusted to the Agency.
This legal mandate is transferred to the Statute of AEVAL, by relating between the objectives and competencies “the promotion and performance of evaluations and analysis of the impact of public policies and programs, favoring the rational use of resources and accountability to citizens, and the impulse of the management of the quality of public services”, and later concretized in its Management Contract, where it is stated that AEVAL is an essential instrument for the annual performance of the
Thus, in compliance with this mandate, the REPORT of STATE AGENCIES 2014 is presented, which has been prepared by the Department of Quality of Services of AEVAL, with the collaboration of the other State Agencies.
