Open government

One of the powers of the Directorate-General for Public Governance is the encouragement, coordination and monitoring of the open government plans and programmes of the ministerial departments in initiatives aimed at developing the principles of transparency, citizen participation, accountability and collaboration, as well as the programming and implementation of projects on the subject, being the point of contact with international bodies in this area.
