Verification entities
The ICT Regulation allows for the implementation, on a voluntary basis, of a project verification process carried out in a framework of free competition by the verification entities accredited by the National Accreditation Body (ENAC)which grants verified projects the presumption of compliance with current ICT legislation (Article 9.3 of the ICT Regulation). The verification of the ICT projects is a process that provides agility in the processing of the files by the Administration and provides a quality guarantee for end users and intermediate agents (promoters, builders, installers, manufacturers, municipalities and communities of owners).
The verification process must comply with the provisions of the Article 5 of the Ordinance on Common Telecommunications Infrastructures and its Annex II where the minimum technical parameters to be verified are detailed.
Those entities that wish to obtain accreditation as ICT project verification entities must apply to ENAC.
There are currently two verification entities accredited by ENAC (select in the search box “Inspection” \\\ “Telecommunications”) for the verification of ICT projects:
- COIT (274/EI471)
- COITT (280/EI487)
