Support for broadband deployment
On April 9, the Resolution of the Call for the Next Generation Broadband Extension Program for 2015.
In this call, the form of aid called “ERDF advance” has been introduced instead of low-interest repayable loans. This aid is for the beneficiary equivalent to a non-refundable grant, which is also paid in advance to facilitate the realization of the projects.
A total of 169 applications were submitted for the implementation of other projects by 63 operators. Once processed and evaluated, 100 of them, belonging to 100 projects (83 of line A, 3 of line B and 14 of line C) presented by 39 operators have been resolved favourably. They total eligible investments of EUR 164,460,559, with grants of EUR 7,339,529 in grants and EUR 50,499,293 in ERDF advances.
