Personal Overview

Born in Madrid in 1973, Since July 2021 he has been director of the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Government

He taught classes of public communication techniques and debate at the Faculty of Law of the University of Navarra and at the Complutense University of Madrid.
He is the author of the book “From 15M to Procés” edited by Planeta through his seal Ediciones Deusto. He also founded and ran a small web design company called Ideorama.
He has been a political analyst and fellow in various radio and television programmes (TVE, Telecinco, La Sixth, Notification3, Cuatro, RNE, Cadena SER, Punto Radio).

Since July 2021 he has been director of the Cabinet of the Government Presidency. Between 2018 and 2021 he was president and CEO of Paradores.
Appointed in 2015 senator representing the Cortes of Castilla y León, he remained in office until 2018. In the Lower House he was the spokesman for the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the spokesman for the Socialist Parliamentary Group.
Between 2012 and 2014, he was in charge of the PSOE Secretariat of Organization. He was also Secretary General of the PSOE of Castilla y León (2008); candidate for the presidency of the Junta de Castilla y León (2010) and spokesperson of the socialist group in the Cortes de Castilla y León until 2015.
He was elected a member of the PSOE in 2004 and was part of Congress until 2011. He served as a spokesman for the RTVE Control Commission. In those years he was the rapporteur of laws such as the RTVE corporation, the transition to DTT or the General Audiovisual Law.
