Request for special indicators on a temporary basis and competitive competitions
Special indications on a temporary basis
Applications for the temporary use of special badges will be submitted to the corresponding Provincial Telecommunications Inspection Headquarters. In case of affecting several provinces, a different request will be made to each corresponding Provincial Headquarters.
The submission of applications will be made through the electronic headquarters of the Ministry, at the link (Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service Electronic Headquarters - Detail of Electronic Procedures), using the form “Temporary badge of amateur radio”.
The use of temporary badges will require the presentation of an independent request for each event that motivates the request indicating the period of use, the badge requested, the name and badge of the applicant, (in the case of associations or radio clubs the request must be signed by a person who represents it) the reason for the request and the type of station, own or collective forming a single station. However, recognised radio amateur associations may set up a committee to draw up annual plans for the use of temporary badges and allocation proposals, which will be submitted to the Secretary of State for examination and approval where appropriate.
It is important to point out that, as established by the Radio Regulations of the International Telecommunication Union and the Regulation on the use of the public radio domain by Radio Amateurs, broadcasts must be identified. For this reason, the application must clearly indicate which badges are to be used and from which station the emissions for each badge would be made. In case the application is made by an association or radioclub, it will take the necessary measures to ensure that it is not issued with the same badge from more than one station at the same time.
Competitions of high competitiveness
The submission of applications will be made through the electronic headquarters of the Ministry, at the link (Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service Electronic Headquarters - Detail of Electronic Procedures), using the form “Application for special authorisation, high competitiveness competitions and notification of temporary location”.
In the case of highly competitive competitions, in order to facilitate the submission and processing of applications, different requests for different competitions are allowed to be included in a single application.
