The deployment of new generation networks offers innovative and technologically more adapted services to the needs of citizens, while contributing to the economic growth of the country. An element of great importance that facilitates the extension of the new generation networks is the incorporation of a Common Telecommunications Infrastructure (ICT) inside the new build buildings, and the installation of end sections of fixed ultra-fast access networks in already built buildings.

To this end, the buildings must be provided with appropriate infrastructures, promoting the shared use of such infrastructures and ensuring that an adequate quality of service is provided. These characteristics must be detailed in the technical projects of the telecommunications networks that are to be installed inside the buildings, and must be reflected in the installation bulletin and in the test protocol that are carried out once the installation is completed. These three documents must be presented in the Electronic Headquarters of the Ministry.
In order to verify compliance with the implementation of the new generation networks, the Provincial Chiefs of Telecommunications Inspection They can carry out checks, inspections or audits of telecommunications networks inside buildings and the services they provide.
