Fixed broadband point-to-point and point-to-multipoint service
The fixed service is a radio service defined in the ITU Radio Regulations as that relating to radio links between two fixed points. The fixed service also includes point-to-multipoint systems in which a central station communicates with a series of peripheral fixed stations, located within its coverage radius.
The National Frequency Allocation Table (CNAF) sets the frequency bands reserved for this service. In addition, the Ministry ' s electronic headquarters contains a number of instructions relating to the organization of the frequency bands for each individual case.
The private use of the radio spectrum for the fixed service requires obtaining an enabling degree that must be requested telematically using the procedures and forms established in the electronic headquarters of the Ministry.
The application must be accompanied by a technical project signed by a telecommunications technician. The technical projects will be composed of an XML file according to the XSD schemes established and available in the electronic headquarters, as well as additional PDF files that include the additional information not collected in the previous file (see document below). Once the application has been processed, the applicant will receive, where appropriate, the documents relating to the enabling title: the approval resolution, the Technical Annex and the receipt of the initial public radio domain reservation fee, model 990.
The forms and procedures related to the authorized qualifying title are also found in the Ministry’s electronic headquarters: modifications, cancellations, etc.
The networks of Fixed service point to multipoint they must be processed through Specific data sheet available also at the electronic office. In this case the presentation of the technical project is not done through an XML file, but the following completed form must be attached:
