This paper discusses the analysis of the perception of residents in Spain regarding different public policies and services and their evolution in recent years. In particular, the importance that citizens attach to public services and the degree of satisfaction with a wide range of sectoral policies and services is studied in 2015.
As in other years, the public’s views and habits regarding administrative public services and e-government are also analysed in detail. Finally, this time the public perception about the implementation of Law 19/2013, of December 9, on transparency, access to public information and good governance is studied.
Among the activities developed by AEVAL is to periodically report on the social perception of public services and the level of quality with which they are provided. While the studies on the level of objective quality of public services are collected in other reports of AEVAL, in this one takes care of the first part of the said mandate, that is, to the one that provides the need to report on the perceived quality of public services.
