4. Regulations on equality between women and men
- Regulation (EU) No 1301/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December 2013
in its article 7 on the promotion of equality between men and women. - Organic Law 3/2007 of 22 March, for effective equality between men and women
(LOIEMH). The articles of the Act dealing with equality between women and men and its effects on communication and information are articles 14, 28 and 36. - Law 29/2005 of 29 December on advertising and institutional communication.
The articles of the Act dealing with equality between women and men and its effects on institutional communication and information are articles 3, paragraph 3 and article 4. - Organic Law 1/2004 of 28 December on comprehensive protection measures against gender violence.
This Act addresses the gender perspective in communication in Article 13.
The equality laws of the Autonomous Community also provide references about the non-sexist use of language either by the Administration, the different public and private institutions and citizenship.
