Information on digital television stations (TD)

Note UN-36 of the National Frequency Allocation Board (CNAF) establishes that the frequency band 470 to 694 MHz (radio channels 21 to 48) will be used by the entities authorized to provide television services with digital technology, and their use will be regulated in accordance with the National Technical Plans:

The National Technical Plan for Digital Terrestrial Television, approved by the Royal Decree 391/2019, of June 21 (BOE nº151, of June 25, 2019).
The National Technical Plan for Local Digital Television, approved by the Real Decreto 439/2004, de 12 de marzo (BOE nº 85, de 8 de abril de 2004), modified by Royal Decree 2268/2004, of 3 December (BOE No 292, of 4 December 2004) and the Royal Decree 391/2019, of June 21 (BOE nº151, of June 25, 2019).

Enabled entities

The entities authorized to provide television services with digital technology (service license) are:

The Corporation of Spanish Radio and Television, S.A., through the Sociedad Mercantil Estado Televisión Española (TVE).
Companies or entities licensed by the State for operation in a State coverage network:
- Atresmedia Corporation of Mass Media, S.A.
- Mediaset España Comunicación, S.A.
- Sociedad Gestora de Televisión Net TV, S.A.
- Veo Televisión, S.A.
- 13 TV, S.A.
- Real Madrid Football Club
- Radio Blanca, SA.
- Ten Media, S.L.
The Public Entities of the Autonomous Communities authorized for the direct management of television in a digital multiple of autonomous territorial scope.
Natural or legal persons by license granted by the competent bodies of the Autonomous Communities for their exploitation in a digital multiple of autonomous territorial coverage.
Municipalities and island territorial organizations by administrative concession granted by the competent bodies of the Autonomous Communities for their exploitation in a demarcation of local coverage.
