Technical assistance

The management and control of the Broadband Extension Program (PEBA-NGA) are co-financed with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Technical Assistance Axis 13 of the Multiregional Operational Program of Spain (POPE) 2014-2020.

The State Secretariat of Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures (SETELECO) has made an Order to the entity Ingeniería de Sistemas para la Defensa de España S.A., S.M.E., M.P. for the implementation of support actions in the management and control functions carried out by SETELECO as an Intermediate Body of the ERDF.

This Axis 13 is in turn structured in two Specific Objectives:

  • 99.99.1. Achieve an effective implementation of the PO by supporting management and control activity and capacity development in these areas
  • 99.99.2. Improve the system of governance and partnership, enhancing coordination mechanisms, evaluation and communication between public administration agents, economic and social agents and civil society

Each of these Strategic Objectives is responsible for a financed action, in which the Commission carried out by SETELECO is framed. These performances are:

  • AT-99991.1a - Management (type 3)
  • AT-99992.1a – Communication (type 3)

In the case of the performance “AT-99991.1a - Management (type 3)”, the results obtained are completely aligned with the expectations, which are:

  • Contribute to the P.O. It is implemented as planned and in accordance with the content of the program in line with the provisions of the association agreement.
  • Improve the service offered to agencies and beneficiaries by seeking to reduce the administrative burden.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the milestones established in the PO performance framework.
  • Contribute to reducing financial suspensions and corrections in relation to the period 2007-2013.

In the case of the performance “AT-99992.1a – Communication (type 3)”, the results obtained are completely aligned with the expectations, which are:

  • Contribute to the P.O. it is implemented as planned and in accordance with the content of the program in line with the provisions of the Association Agreement.
  • Promote the development of an appropriate institutional system that ensures compliance with the principles of multi-level governance and partnership.
  • Improve the knowledge and understanding of the objectives and results of the funds by the agents involved in its implementation and by the citizens.
