Academic training
Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from the Carlos III University of Madrid. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and African Studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid; a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies and International Security from the University of Granada and a Master’s Degree in International Cooperation from the Complutense University (University Institute of Development and Cooperation).
He is a career civil servant and belongs to the Superior Corps of Civil Administrators of the State.
Professional experience
During his career in the Administration he has held numerous positions, highlighting his tenure as Secretary of State for Tourism between 2020 and 2022 and previously his tenure as Assistant Secretary for Industry, Trade and Tourism between 2018 and 2020.
He has also been an advisor in the General Directorate of Sports, in the General Secretariat of Culture and Sport and deputy general director of Digitalization of the Industry and Collaborative Environments.
He currently served in the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation as Financial Economic Executive Director.
