Documentation generated within the European Union
Periodically, the European Commission generates various documentation on the effects of exposure to radioelectric emissions and requests different independent scientific committees to review the scientific evidence that may cause electromagnetic fields on health, such as the following:
- Scientific Steering Committee (SSC).
- Scientific Committee Toxicity, Ecotoxicity and the Environment (CSTEE).
- Scientific Committee Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks ( SCENIHR).
Scientific opinions do not justify the need to review the exposure limits, basic restrictions or reference levels, included in the Recommendation 1999/519/EC.
