The public consultation is a fundamental instrument to design the digital roadmap in which all stakeholders can position themselves, and thus gather the relevant proposals and information that stakeholders want to provide for the elaboration of the Digital Strategy for an Intelligent Spain. The consultation was structured in five pillars: data economy, 4.0 ecosystems, intelligent regulation, technological infrastructures and citizenship and digital employment.
109 contributions have been received from companies, associations, public institutions, etc., which have shown their interest in participating in the design of a digital roadmap for Spain.
38% come from companies, with ICT companies being the ones that have participated most. It is followed by partnerships with 25%, and 17% comes from public institutions. Individual citizens account for 13% of the participation. Finally, self-employed people and the University jointly contribute 7% of the answers.
In general terms, based on what was stated in the contributions received, the suitability of the five-pillar structure is accepted, although the modification of some pillars and challenges is suggested.
The Secretary of State for the Information Society and the Digital Agenda thanks all the contributors for their participation in the consultation.
