OECD: Call 2023 for Public Service Innovation Projects

13/12/2023

Until tomorrow, the deadline for nominations for the OECD’s 7th annual Call for Innovations is open.

This year, the focus is entirely on innovation in public services, underlining its fundamental role in meeting the needs of users, improving policy outcomes and building confidence in public institutions.

Public services are the most tangible and visible means of implementing innovation in the public sector. Innovation also ensures that public services are up to the changes that are taking place in our societies, such as the evolution of people’s needs, behaviors and expectations, as well as technological changes, and even that they can anticipate and prepare for future disruptions.

This call will help to identify new perspectives that will be decisive for the OECD Recommendation on User-Centric Public Services, within the framework of the Declaration by Luxembourgto improve people's experiences even through life events, making these services more effective and equitable, in order to reduce administrative burdens, improve access, increase satisfaction and improve people's confidence in institutions.
