‘My Citizen Folder’ incorporates more than 200 local entities, new functionalities and service improvements for citizens

‘My Citizens’ Portfolio’, a service offered by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, through the General Secretariat of Digital Administration attached to the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, already has its fifth official version available in the stores off OS and Android, as well as through it web. In this way, it continues to comply with the initial objectives of growth and improvement of this public service with information from all administrations.

‘My Citizens’ Folder’ allows to consult from the mobile, and from a single point, personal documentation of very different areas (education, real estate, vehicles, residence, social and unemployment benefits, work, clinical history, etc. ). It also facilitates access to your files and your notifications of the public administration through the Single Enabled Electronic Address – DEHú.

In addition, in ‘My Citizen Folder’ it is possible to know the prior appointments managed by the Public Administrations, and receive notices on expiration of procedures related to ID, Passport, Driving Licence and ITV. In this way, the relationship between administration and citizenship is simplified in an accessible, proactive and personalized way from any device.

Since its launch, it has already added more than 2 million downloads of mobile applications. In addition, 2.6 million different citizens have used their services at some time by making more than 16 million accesses.

The fifth official version of ‘My Citizen Folder’, available in the official application markets, incorporates the following new features and improvements of interest to citizens as well as new bodies that provide information through My Citizen Folder.

All this is in line with the Roadmap 2023/2024 that remains published in open for all citizens as an exercise of transparency, also including the provision of incorporation of functionalities considering the feedback of the citizenship.

Citizens can submit their comments on their experience and suggestions through two forms, one on the web and another about mobile app, through which the citizen feedback will be received that is analyzed, prioritized and properly incorporated into the roadmap for future versions

This initiative is being carried out thanks to the excellent collaboration and joint work with the different national, regional, local, university, judicial administrations and their different public bodies.

For all of these reasons, ‘My Citizen’s Portfolio’ has been awarded in the CNIS 2023 Awards presented in the 13th edition of the National Congress of Innovation and Public Services, awarding the award to the best comprehensive electronic headquarters. These awards recognize the most outstanding public initiatives in different areas of public action.

Digital Transformation of Public Administrations

‘My Citizen Folder’ was the first mobile application within the media App Factory delPlan for the Digitalization of Public Administrations, whose objective is to promote the development of quality mobile services for the main public services.

The recognition granted by the citizens through the Internet 2023 Awards, where it was awarded as the best digital transformation project in the public sector; by the professional sector, through the National Computer Engineering Awards, where it was awarded as the best public project; and by the administration itself and the ICT sector of the administration, through the SOCINFO Awards and the CNIS Awards confirms the effort that is being made by the public administrations for its digitalization, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the Digital Spain agenda and the Digitalization Plan of the Public Administrations.
