The General Directorate for the Promotion of Electronic Administration, under the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Administration, proposes the introduction of improvements in the care of the citizen through the adoption of a new model of organization of the service provided through telephone number 060.
Once the initial plan of organization of this service based on provincial nodes has been modified, and articulated from the delivery of calls in a central node, the General Directorate for the Promotion of Electronic Administration requests the adaptation of the price of calls to the national, rather than provincial, level. In this way it aims to improve the provision of the 060 service, allowing to achieve the objective of giving citizens access through a single telephone call to the General Administration of the State as a whole, without increasing public spending.
In response to this request, the following Draft Resolution has been prepared proposing the modification of the Resolution of 15 April 1999, of the General Secretariat of Communications, attributing the number 060 to the Information Service of the General Administration of the State.
