MUFACE sends certificates to Special Fund mutualists

23/11/2023

MUFACE has launched a campaign to send certificates to the mutualists who belonged to one of the mutuals pre-existing to MUFACE and who were integrated into the current body, forming the so-called Special Fund.

The purpose of this certificate is to enable these mutualists to prove that they belonged to these mutuals, so that those pensioners who quoted in the former occupational mutual societies can recover, by judicial means, part of the quotas declared between 1 January 1967 and 31 December 1978.

MUFACE is sending this ex officio certificate to all mutualists listed on the Special Fund. However, MUFACE underlines that this certificate alone does not presuppose or recognize any right and, likewise, does not know the extent and effects that the judgment of the Supreme Court may have on integrated mutual societies.

The rest of the mutualists who joined MUFACE directly without coming from another previous Mutuality, and who are integrated into the General Fund, will not receive this certificate and should not apply for it as this judgment does not affect them.
