Published the Statistical Staff Bulletin at the Service of Public Administrations with data updated as of July 2022

The Ministry of Finance and Civil Service has published the Statistical Staff Bulletin at the service of Public Administrations (BEPSAP) with data updated as of July 2022.

The Bulletin discusses the status of staff working for public administrations from various perspectives, according to gender, age or territorial distribution, and also lists them as members of ministries, autonomous bodies or state agencies.

According to the latter BEPSAP, the number of public employees as of July 2022 is 2,731.117.

The number of employees and employees compared to the previous semester (January 2022) shows a slight increase of 0.5%, 13,547 people: 6,374 in the local administration, 5,445 in the regional governments and 1,728 in the state.

The newsletter also analyzes the age of the staff in the General Government of the State (AGE). In this sense, 41.56% of the public employees of the AGE are between 50 and 59 years old, with over 50 63.46% of the staff. Children under 40 do not exceed 15%.
