The Official State Gazette of today April 29 has published the Resolution of April 13, 2021, appointing career officials of the Optional Body of State Conservatives.
It is a special body of the General Administration of the State attached to the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Group A1, among whose functions we can highlight those related to the acquisition, conservation, documentation, research, exhibition and dissemination of collections, as well as those related to the institution in terms of management and planning
The evolution of cultural institutions in recent times has strengthened its mission. It participates in the museological definition of the centers, in the museographic approach of the exhibition, designs research and diffusion programs and campaigns of gathering resources for its public projection, positions the institution on social networks and works on principles of sustainability. They hold positions as cultural managers in public bodies and administrations.
In order to participate in the selective process, applicants must have the title of Bachelor, Graduate, Engineer or Architect.
The selection process will consist of four exercises, the first part will consist of the development in writing in Spanish of a general cultural theme, the content of which will be related to the subjects of the groups of "Sociocultural Structure" and "Museology". The second part shall consist of the development in Spanish in writing of an item belonging to the ‘Legislation’ group. The second exercise shall consist of a test divided into two parts on the foreign language chosen by the applicant between the following: German, French, English, Italian and Portuguese.
The third exercise will consist of the oral presentation in Spanish to the Court of four randomly extracted subjects. And the fourth exercise will consist of two parts, one which will consist of the resolution of a practical case related to the 'Legislation' agenda, and the 'Museology' agenda, and a second part will consist of the cataloguing of five pieces chosen by the opponent of a total of nine selected by the Court.
Subsequently, applicants who pass the process will take a selective course will be organized by the General Direction of Fine Arts and will have as primary objective the acquisition of knowledge and skills in order to specifically prepare the candidates for the exercise of the functions of the Body called.
