The 060 telephone number of the General Administration of the State receives almost 3.4 million calls in the first quarter of the year.

The 060 is an AGE telephone service channel that has an intelligent network telephone platform that supports citizens 24 hours a day, and attends at first level directly centralised calls from citizens, referring them, if necessary, to operators specialising in the various subjects.

In the last 9 years, calls to 060 have increased sixfold from 2.2 million in 2011 to 12.8 million in 2020. At present, the 060 now includes 230 telephone lines from various administrative bodies and more than 25 citizen services.

One of the last services incorporated in 2020, due to the pandemic, is that of the prior appointment at the AGE Citizen Information and Care Offices. It was launched from June 2020, coinciding with the progressive reopening of the citizen care offices closed on the occasion of the state of alarm, given the need to prioritize telephone and telematic care, being necessary for the case of face-to-face care the prior appointment to limit the capacity.

At the same time, the various MUFACE offices spread throughout the national territory continue to be integrated into the 060 pre-appointment service.
