In the Official State Gazette of 24 June, the Royal Decree-Law 23/2020 of 23 June, approving measures in the field of energy and in other areas for economic reactivation, has been published.

Article 11 of this rule provides that, with an exceptional character, the temporary qualification for the execution of the public employment offer or similar instrument of the public administrations and of the temporary employment stabilization processes provided for in the General Budget Laws of the State for the year 2017 and 2018, convened in accordance with the regulation of Article 70.1 of the recast text of the Law of the Basic Status of the Public Employee, which expires in 2021.

In addition, the deadline for approving and publishing in the Official Journals the public job vacancies that articulate the temporary employment stabilization processes referred to above is also extended until 31 December 2021. At the other extreme, these processes shall comply with the requirements and conditions set out in each of the aforementioned Budget Laws, as appropriate.
