The municipality of Santa María del Campo Rús, belonging to the province of Cuenca, currently has the Provincial Telephone Prefix of Albacete (967).
The municipal authorities asked the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and for the Information Society to correct this situation, so that Santa María del Campo Rús would be integrated into the Provincial Telephone Prefix of Cuenca (969), which is its administrative property.
In response to this request, the Resolution of July 10, 2007, of the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and for the Information Society, on the integration of the municipality of Santa Maria del Campo Rús in the provincial numbering area of Cuenca (Official State Gazette of August 6, 2007), has been issued.

The numbering changes will take place on February 16, 2008, at zero hours .
