Evaluation of the aspects to be considered in the bidding processes for the provision of digital television service in remote and less urbanized areas

The Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism initiates a public consultation for the “Evaluation of the aspects to be considered in the bidding processes for the provision of digital television service in remote and less urbanized areas”, in accordance with the principle of technological neutrality.

These tender processes are aimed at providing the digital television service for the broadcasting of the offer of television channels of the licensees of the terrestrial digital television audiovisual communication service at national level, and where appropriate autonomous, in remote and less urbanized areas that are not covered by the licensees of this service, in compliance with the obligations associated with their licences (the so-called zone II by the Commission).

Only responses in which the sender is identified will be considered.

In general, the responses will be considered non-confidential and therefore freely disseminated. The parts of the information that are desired to be considered as confidential must be specifically indicated and delimited in the text itself, motivating the reasons for such qualification.
