Prior public consultation on the modification of Law 7/2010, of March 31, General of Audiovisual Communication

Article 133.1 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of the Public Administrations and article 26.2 of Law 50/1997, of 27 November, of the Government establish that prior to the elaboration of the draft or preliminary draft law or regulation, a public consultation will be held, through the web portal of the competent Administration in which the opinion of the subjects and the most representative organizations potentially affected by the future rule will be sought.

In application of both legal precepts, a public consultation is opened to obtain contributions from the agents present in the audiovisual sector in relation to:

• Amendment of Law 7/2010, of 31 March, General Audiovisual Communication, to transpose Directive (EU) 2018/1808 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 14 November 2018, amending Directive 2010/13/EU on the coordination of certain provisions laid down by law, regulation or administrative action in Member States concerning the provision of audiovisual communication services.
• Proposals to modify the rest of the regulations in the audiovisual field.

At the beginning of the contribution, the sender must indicate his identification through his name or social denomination and his contact details.

Please answer the questions that are asked, in those points where you want to make a contribution, always doing so through reasoned answers.

Only those responses in which the sender is identified and their contribution is made within the framework of this consultation will be considered.

In general, the responses and contributions received will be considered susceptible to public dissemination. The parts of the information submitted that, in the opinion of the interested party, should be treated confidentially and therefore should not be freely disseminated, must be specifically indicated in the text itself, and the reasons for requesting confidential treatment must be justified in a reasoned manner. Generic messages of confidentiality of information will not be taken into account for these purposes.
