The Ministry of Finance and Civil Service today, 16 October, published and updated information on the perceptions of the presidents of the autonomous communities, the senior officials of the autonomous communities, the elected officials of the local corporations (8,128 municipalities and 52 deputies, councils and island councils) and tables with the salaries of their officials by tranches of perceptions for the year 2022.

The data come from the Administration Post Information System (ISPA), managed by the State Secretariat for Civil Service. The ISPA is the platform that collects information on these salaries from elected officials during the previous year. It also covers the salaries assigned to the posts of officials of municipalities, provincial and provincial councils and island councils and councils and autonomous communities.

The purpose of its publication is to allow an overview of the group of local entities, impossible to achieve by the mere aggregation of individualized information, by the large number of entities, greater than eight thousand, as well as by the necessary homogenization of the information so that the data can be compared and aggregated to obtain an adequate overview.
