The video this week of #Public Talent brings us to Jesús Jiménez Ruiz, who belongs to the Specialized Higher Technicians Scale of Public Research Agencies and works at the National Institute of Agricultural and Food Research and Technology of CSIC, Ministry of Science and Innovation.

Jesús, Andaluz, Jienense and Tomeseño, serves in the department of the Plant Protection Products Unit by developing the scientific evaluation of the dosages of active substances, as well as of the plant protection products applied in the field for the control of the different pests, diseases and weeds of the agricultural crops we have in Spain, also collaborating with other European organisms to achieve food safety for all consumers in the European Union.

He states that it is an exciting work, that we must have a scientific vocation and that he is very happy and happy to develop his professional career within the public administration.
