On 28 March, the first MUFACE General Council of 2023, led by MUFACE Secretary General Pablo Saavedra, was held in place of Director-General Myriam Pallarés. The Director-General of Public Governance, Clara Mapelli, has also attended, among other Civil Service officials.
Saavedra highlighted the progress made by the Mutuality in the implementation of the concerted electronic prescription, which since last March 27 works in Extremadura, joining Cantabria, Asturias and the Canary Islands. The next deployment will be in La Rioja and Navarra, the second phase of the project, which will cover in 2024 with its implementation throughout Spain.
Other issues dealt with were the number of requests for regular change of status; the calls for Socio-Health Assistance for 2023; the Healthy Mutuality Plan was presented for approval; the new version of the MUFACE mobile app was also presented, which will facilitate the handling of applications for dental and ocular benefits; and the submission to the Council of the final report of the 2020-FACE Action Plan.
