Appointment of Career Officials of the Body of Technical Specialists in Cartographic Reproduction

The Official Gazette of today's State, June 15, published the Resolution of 10 June 2021 of the State Secretariat of Territorial Policy and Civil Service, appointing career staff, by the general system of free access, of the Corps of Technical Specialists in Cartographic Reproduction

The Corps of Technical Specialists in Cartographic Reproduction is a specific body of the General Government of the State, in particular it is attached to the General Directorate of the National Geographic Institute, Autonomous Body of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda. This is opposition from Subgroup A2.

This profession was regulated as an eminently technical career, so that these officials are integrated into the three Cartographic workshops of the Institute; the large-format workshop for the production of planks and digital printing, the offset printing workshop and the workshop for binding and folding, whose main mission is the printing and editing of the official cartography and bibliography through the annual publishing plans and constitute the heart of the IGN printing and printing laboratory.

In order to participate in the selective process, applicants must have the title of Bachiller or Technician. This selection process shall consist of the opposition phases and the selective course:

The opposition phase will consist of three obligatory and eliminatory exercises, the first exercise will consist in answering in writing a questionnaire of 100 questions of which 25 questions will correspond to the part of the agenda ‘Organization and functioning of the General Administration of the State’ and 75 to the specific agenda, the second exercise, of a theoretical and practical nature, will consist in the development in writing of a case prepared by the court, and the third exercise will consist in the theoretical and practical development of the

The selective course will consist of a theoretical training period organized by the Sub-directorate General of Human Resources of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 953/2018, of 27 July.
