The Official State Gazette (BOE) today publishes the call of the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Civil Service for various selective processes for the General State Administration (AGE), whose examinations will begin in November.
There are 10,254 places, 799 (7%) of which are reserved for disabled persons. Of the number of places in the selective processes that are called today, 3,803 places stand out for the General Administrative Body of the State Administration (850 free shift, 2,950 internal promotion and 3 for stabilization), 3,162 for the General Auxiliary Body of the State Administration (650 free shift, 1,500 internal promotion and 1,012 stabilization).
Today, there are also 2,239 seats for the State Civil Administration Management Corps (781 free, 1,050 internal promotion and 408 stabilization) and 480 seats for the State Administration System and Computer Management Corps (280 free income and 200 internal promotion).
These calls correspond to the 2019 and 2020 Public Employment Offers and the 2017 and 2018 Stabilisation Offers.
The Minister of Territorial Policy and Civil Service, Miquel Iceta, presented on Wednesday of this week the document “Orientations to update selective processes in the General Government of the State”, to adapt them to the generational shift, the eruption of artificial intelligence and the new talent needs required by the Administration of the 21st century.
One of the main conclusions, after months of debate involving a hundred staff selection experts, has been the need to streamline the selective processes, to gradually implement the measures until they are fully implemented by 2025.
One of these measures is already being implemented in today’s calls to streamline the selective processes: the conduct of two theoretical and practical examinations on the same day, which will allow the duration of the tests to be shortened and prevent the movement of opponents.
