In the State Gazette Today, May 11, the Resolution of 6 May 2021 has been published, appointing career officials of the Higher Corps of Engineers of Montes de la Hacienda Pública.

It is a body of the General Administration of the State attached to the Ministry of Finance, General Directorate of the Cadaster, of Group A1, whose activity is centered on the Regional and Territorial Management of the Cadaster, distributed throughout the national territory, with the exception of the Basque Country and Navarre, as well as the dependencies of the General Services of the General Directorate of the Cadaster.

However, Public Finance Forestry Engineers can perform functions in other sectors such as the Forestry Policy of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, AACC services on Forestry or Rural Development issues or even in Municipalities.

In order to participate in the selective process, applicants must have the title Ingeniería de Montes or the title that enables them to exercise this regulated profession, as laid down in the Community directives.

The selective process will consist of 4 exercises with a total of 149 subjects: the first consists of two parts, a first of a 12-question questionnaire and the second of a direct translation in writing and without a dictionary. The second exercise is a 12-question questionnaire, the third one is a resolution of practical assumptions and the fourth and final one is oral and will consist of the exposition of 4 randomly extracted subjects by the opponent.

All applicants who pass the opposition phase will take a selective course at the School of Public Finance of the Institute of Fiscal Studies, which they will have to take advantage of.
