Yesterday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, the book entitled “Potentialities of the aeronautical industry for the employment inclusion of people with disabilities” was presented with the participation of Enaire, National Air Navigation Manager and CERMI. (Spanish Committee of Representatives of Persons with Disabilities)
This is the first study of these characteristics carried out in Spain and aims to promote awareness and visibility of opportunities so that all the actors involved can collaborate in ensuring social inclusion, increasing opportunities for access to the labour market of people with disabilities. In addition, the study points out ways to make the aeronautical industry more diverse and rich by taking on the inclusive dimension of people with disabilities.
The report is based on the agreement signed on 11 January 2021, between ENAIRE, with the Spanish Committee of Representatives of Persons with Disabilities, the ONCE Foundation, the Spanish Business Federation of Associations of Special Employment Centres and Inserta Employment, for the joint and shared development of actions aimed at promoting the knowledge of disability, the inclusion of people with disabilities in public employment and education.
