The European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) offers new activities for 2021, the “Open conversations” designed as short term, open, free and topical panels for public administrations.

The panels are as follows:

  • Intergenerational Management inside public administrations (eipa.eu), which took place on 28 January 2021
  • New Work – The modern working environment in public administration (eipa.eu), which will take place on 24 February 2021. In recent months, many organizations and administrations have moved away from a "classroom culture" predominantly towards more flexible working hours and workplaces, resulting in a new work environment, with new forms of collaboration and communication.
  • Skills for a modern and digital working environment (eipa.eu) , to be held on 25 February 2021 Together with the current challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses and public administration face the challenges of 3D almost simultaneously: diversity, demographics and digitization. Society is becoming more and more diverse, as is the workforce. Promoting equality and equal opportunities requires management of professional diversity, in order to attract and promote the diverse and diverse skills of applicants and employees, resulting in a modern and digital working environment.

These workshops are aligned with the EUPAN 2019-2022 strategy and in particular with innovation in the provision of digital services; ethical leadership and employee motivation.
