The Council of Ministers, on the proposal of the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service, has approved a Royal Decree regulating the direct granting of a grant to the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) within the framework of the Agreement on Training Funds for the employment of Public Administrations.

The purpose of the agreement is to grant a grant of 574,720 euros from the INAP expenditure budget of 2025 to promote an inter-administrative training plan of the FEMP aimed at public employees of local entities, aimed at improving the capacity for management, adaptation and leadership of change processes, as well as the public service provided to the citizens as a whole.

The training plan of these employees will be composed of training and complementary activities such as information, dissemination, participation, design of methodologies and tools, research, among others.
