The Council of Ministers approves the Digital Agenda for Spain
The Council of Ministers, on the proposal of the Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism and the Minister of Finance and Public Administrations, approved today, at its session of 15 February 2013, the Digital Agenda for Spain.
The Council of Ministers, on the proposal of the Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism and the Minister of Finance and Public Administrations, approved today, at its session of 15 February 2013, the Digital Agenda for Spain.
The Digital Agenda for Spain is the government’s strategy in the digital and telecommunications sector. Its aim is to transfer the benefits of new technologies to citizens, businesses and the administration.
The Agenda marks the roadmap for the fulfillment of the objectives of the Digital Agenda for Europe in 2015 and 2020, and incorporates specific objectives for the development of the digital economy and society in Spain.
The Digital Agenda for Spain has been prepared through an open, transparent and participatory process that has benefited from the collaboration of all stakeholders in the sector (group of experts, public consultation, Committee of Industry of the Congress of Deputies, Consultation of CCAA and EELL, Superior Council of Electronic Administration, etc.).
