The municipality of Santa María de los Llanos, belonging to the province of Cuenca, currently has the Provincial Telephone Prefix of Albacete (967).
The municipal authorities asked the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and for the Information Society to correct this situation, so that Santa María de la Llanos would be integrated into the Provincial Telephone Prefix of Cuenca (969), which is its administrative property.
In response to this request, the Resolution of May 25, 2007, of the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and for the Information Society, on the integration of the municipality of San ta Maria de los Llanos in the provincial numbering area of Cuenca (BOE June 19, 2007) has been issued.

The numbering changes will take place on December 15, 2007, at zero hours.
