Public Consultation on the Identification of “NGA White Areas” and “NGA Grey Areas” for 2020

The State Secretariat for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure submits for consultation to all interested parties (operators, public administrations, National Commission for Markets and Competition and other agents) the preliminary white and grey area NGA list, prepared on the basis of the available coverage information of new generation broadband networks (networks NGA).

The objective of the consultation is to consolidate this preliminary identification to obtain the definitive list of white areas NGA and grey areas NGAin which, in accordance with the State aid rules, it is possible to grant public aid throughout 2020 for the implementation of projects to extend network coverage NGA in those areas.

To facilitate the location and analysis of the zones, geographic layer files are provided in kmz, shape and filegdb format that allow their treatment from any georeferenced information system (GIS).

Only responses in which the sender is clearly identified will be considered.

In general, the responses will be considered non-confidential and, consequently, freely disseminated. In case of including in the response information that is considered confidential, it must be clearly identified, motivating such consideration.
