First phase of the public consultation on the identification of NGA white areas for the year 2015

The State Secretariat for Telecommunications and for the Information Society (SETSI) submits for consultation to all interested parties (operators, public administrations and other agents) the list of unique population entities (ESPs) in which, according to the information available to SETSI, there is already coverage of new generation broadband networks (NGAs), so they must be excluded from the consideration of “NGA white areas” for the purpose of granting state aid for the realization of projects of extension of the coverage of NGA networks to white areas, such as the Program of New Generation / NGA white areas.

The objectives of this consultation are: on the one hand, to consolidate the provisional relationship of ESP, in order to determine the definitive relationship of those who will be excluded from the consideration of “NGA white areas” and, on the other, to initiate the process of identification of certain white areas in ESP that, as a whole, lack such consideration.

Only responses in which the sender is clearly identified will be considered.

In general, the responses will be considered non-confidential and, consequently, freely disseminated. In case of including in the response information that is considered confidential, it must be clearly identified, motivating such consideration.
