The Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda (MINETAD) considers it key to promote the development of 5G networks and services in Spain. There is an almost generalized consensus about its relevance, which will not be limited to the electronic communications sector, but will bring its benefits to all components of society (companies, citizenship and AA.PP.) They will be able to benefit from new services, solutions and applications. To this end, it is intended to design a series of actions that will make up the National Plan 5G.

Background to the rule
Objectives of the standard
For the definition of the actions and initiatives that make up the National Plan 5G, it has been deemed necessary to carry out this Public Consultation. The objective of the consultation is to have the relevant proposals and information that stakeholders can provide for the elaboration of the Plan. Participation is not limited to agents in the electronic communications sector, but is intended to receive contributions from any company or citizens, and from society as a whole. Among others, contributions are expected from AA.PP., companies from different sectors, consumers and users, associations and social organizations, etc.

At the beginning of all contributions, the sender must indicate his identification through his name or social denomination, and his contact details.
Only those responses in which the sender is identified and their contribution is made within the framework of this consultation will be considered.
In general, the responses and contributions received will be considered susceptible to public dissemination. The parts of the information submitted that, in the opinion of the interested party, should be treated confidentially and therefore should not be freely disseminated, must be specifically indicated and identified in the text of the contribution itself, and the reasons for requesting its confidential treatment must be justified in a reasoned manner. Generic messages of confidentiality of information will not be taken into account for these purposes.
